Claude K. Dubois (born April 3, 1960 in Verviers , Belgium ) is a French-speaking children's author and illustrator. In 2014 she received the German Youth Literature Prize and the Catholic Children's and Youth Book Prize for her picture book Akim rennt .

biography

Claude K. Dubois studied at the École Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc in Liège , where she now teaches. So far she has illustrated around eighty picture books. Sometimes she also writes the lyrics. Your first picture books date from the 1980s.

Since 1995 she has received several awards in the French-speaking area. After the German Youth Literature Prize in 2014, her picture book Akim rennt received the 2016 Prize of the Madrid Book Trade Association (Gremio de libreros de Madrid) for the best-selling picture book in Spain.
