Claudia Balko (* 1962 ) is a German actress .

Life

Claudia Balko studied acting at the Berlin University of the Arts from 1984 to 1987 . From 1986 to 1994 she had a permanent engagement at the Grips-Theater , since then she has been working as a freelancer. In addition to regular guest appearances at the Grips-Theater, Balko has so far played on other Berlin stages such as the Tribüne , the Theater am Kurfürstendamm , the Theater Strahl, the Berlin State Opera and the Atze Musiktheater . Balko was seen in the musical Linie 1 , with which she went on a world tour. With Flimmerbilly , another Grips production, she made guest appearances in South Korea and India.

Since the beginning of the 1990s, Balko was often seen in front of the camera, mostly as a guest actress in series. In four Tatort episodes she embodied the character of Beate Berger , in 1996 she played in the first eight episodes of the action series Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei . In addition to acting, Balko works as a breathing and movement pedagogue and relaxation coach. She is a lecturer for musical lessons in the association Kultur- und Lernwelten e. V. and leads theater workshops and productions at Berlin schools.

Claudia Balko lives in Berlin and is the mother of two daughters (* 1996 and 1999).
