Claudia Edelmann (born November 15, 1965 in Tirschenreuth , Bavaria ) is a German writer and journalist . In addition to her writing, she also works as a copywriter .

Life

After completing a degree in business administration with a focus on marketing, Edelmann worked for many years in product management and trained as a journalist.

Edelmann decided in 2008 to devote himself to writing. First she studied fiction at the school of writing in Hamburg . Her first book “The flying dolphin - stories and anecdotes from old Constance” was published during her basic studies. A year later, in 2009, the book "Crazy Animals - Pleasures and Curiosities of Lovable Four-legged Friends" was published.

Edelmann lives in Constance .

New Zealand

She was fascinated by New Zealand as early as 1992 when she first traveled to the country. About 40 more trips followed.

In January 2010 Edelmann began researching a new book project in New Zealand on the subject of Maori culture . The book Maori - New Zealand's Hidden Treasure was published in September 2011. It was written in German and English and contains passages in the Maori language.

TV appearances

In 2012, Claudia Edelmann was at the Frankfurt Book Fair at the New Zealand guest country, visiting journalist Ulrich Timm. The interview was broadcast on tagesschau24 in October 2012.

In 2020 Edelmann took part in the Bauer sucht Frau - offshoot Bauer sucht Frau International on RTL . As one of three candidates for a farmer in Austria, she broke off the farm week herself.
