Claudia Lang

Claudia Lang (* 1953 in Ausserfern , Tyrol ) is an Austrian author , actress and director .

Life

Lang is a trained theater pedagogue and was the director and co-founder of the Geierwally open-air theater in Elbigenalp for many years . She worked as a director and actress and became known beyond the borders of Tyrol. Claudia Lang has four children.

  • A handful of Heimat : a play about the emigration of many Tyroleans and Germans in the 19th century and their hope for a better life in Pozuzo , premiered in 2010
  • The avalanche : In 1984 an avalanche destroyed half a village in the Lech Valley. As if by a miracle, only belongings fell victim to the force of nature. First performance in 2009
