Claudia Michalski

Claudia Michalski (born January 9, 1966 ) is a German media manager and entrepreneur, she is the managing partner of OMC OpenMind Management Consulting GmbH in Berlin.

Life

Following her apprenticeship as a publishing clerk , Claudia Michalski studied economics at the Free University of Berlin with a focus on journalism. After a short stint at the Walter de Gruyter publishing house , she switched to Beuth Verlag , which she headed from 2003 as managing director and from 2011 as management spokeswoman. From 2004 onwards she was managing director of DIN Bauportal GmbH, a majority holding of Beuth Verlag. In mid-2012 she was appointed managing director of the Handelsblatt publishing group (VHB) in Düsseldorf, where she was responsible in particular for the strategic expansion of B2B specialist media and investment management. The VHB specialist media included the companies Handelsblatt Fachmedien GmbH, MEEDIA GmbH & Co. KG, corps.Corporate Publishing Services GmbH, Bellevue and More GmbH and Management Forum GmbH.

In addition, until May 2015 Michalski was deputy spokeswoman for the Association of German Trade Press and spokeswoman for the AGZV (Association of Magazine Publishers) in the German Book Trade Association .

At the beginning of 2016, she took over the majority stake in OMC OpenMind Management Consulting GmbH in Berlin, which offers cross-sector career advice for executives in professional reorientation, outplacement and career coaching .

Michalski is a trained systemic business coach (ECA) and NLP master.
