Claudia Moll (* 15. December 1968 in Eschweiler ) is a German politician ( SPD ), which on 24 September 2017 the Aachen II in the (constituency 88) Bundestag was elected.

Claudia Moll is the oldest of three children. She is married and the marriage has two daughters. She is a geriatric nurse with additional qualification in geriatric psychiatry .

politics

Claudia Moll has been a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany for many years. Since 2009 she has been a member of the Eschweiler City Council and a member of the Culture and Election Examination Committee. She has been actively involved in the Working Group of Social Democratic Women Eschweiler (AsF) since 2005 and has been its chairman since 2013. In the same year she also took over the deputy chairmanship of the Working Group for Employee Issues Eschweiler (AfA). Moll has been actively involved in her home association Eschweiler Dürwiß / Neu-Lohn since 2013 and has been deputy chairwoman of the SPD city association Eschweiler since 2016.

In the 2017 federal election, Moll prevailed against incumbent Helmut Brandt ( CDU ) with 36.89% against 36.46% and now represents the old district of Aachen ( Bundestag constituency 88 - Aachen II ) in the Bundestag.
