The documentary Animals and Other People tells about the current relationship between humans and animals. The Vienna Animal Welfare House accommodates 1,000 animal protégés, from abandoned pets, confiscated exotic animals to wild animals that have been displaced from their natural habitat. Despite everything, however, it is a place full of hope, which forms the framework for a multitude of oppressive and humorous stories.
