Claudia Muff

Claudia Muff (born July 6th, 1971 ) is an accordionist from Menznau in the Swiss canton of Lucerne . Her musical focus is folk music .

Claudia Muff is an accordion teacher and musician. She plays in different formations. So with the “Quartet Claudia Muff” with Peter Gossweiler on bass, Felix Brühwiler on guitar and Julian Dillier on drums. This formation cultivates international folk music with its own compositions, Valse Musette , Tango, etc. The "Lucerne Länders Band" consists of Claudia Muff on the accordion, Josef Fischer on the clarinet, recorder and saxophone and Sepp Huber on the bass. Both old country dances and new folk music pieces are played. Also klezmer and other folk music include the repertoire of Lucerne Ländler band. From 1998 until his death in 2015 Claudia Muff also played in the band of her father, Hans Muff . Claudia Muff is engaged as a guest musician in many projects, theaters and formations.
