Claudia Richter
Claudia Richter ( born Claudia Sturm, born September 27, 1962 in Heppenheim ) is a former German handball player .
Richter played for the Bundesliga club TSV Rot-Weiß Auerbach, today's HSG Bensheim / Auerbach . After Auerbach was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga, Richter moved to the first division club VfL Neckargartach . For the German national women's handball team , she scored 167 goals in 103 international matches. At the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles , their team reached fourth place. Your playing position was right winger. Today she teaches as a student at the Old Electoral High School in Bensheim , where she was a student in her youth. She works as a trainer at the handball performance center in Bergstrasse.
Towards the end of the 2013/14 season, she temporarily trained with her husband Helmut for the second division team at HSG Bensheim / Auerbach.
