Claudia Schuessler

Claudia Schüßler (born November 6, 1967 ) is a lawyer and German politician for the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).

Life

Claudia Schüßler was born in Idar-Oberstein . She moved to Hamburg for a voluntary social year (FSJ) . She then began to study law there, and later moved to Hanover. After the second state examination, she opened a law firm in Wunstorf . On October 15, 2017 Schuessler went for the SPD as deputies in the parliament of Lower Saxony in parliament constituency Barsinghausen one. She has also been a member of the Barsinghausen City Council for the SPD parliamentary group since November 2016 and is its chairman.

At the end of April 2019, she was elected chairwoman of the SPD sub-district Hannover Region, succeeding Matthias Miersch .

Schuessler has two daughters.
