Claudia Stöckl (illustrator)

Claudia Stöckl (* 1973 in Rain am Lech ) is a German educator, speech therapist and illustrator.

Life

In Illdorf grown Stöckl visited after GCSEs the Academy for Social Dillingen . She then worked for a few years as an educator and then completed her training as a speech therapist. From 2004 to 2008 Stöckl studied design at the Münster University of Applied Sciences , with a focus on illustration with Marcus Herrenberger . She spent a semester abroad (painting) in Spain. The picture book Being Friends was her thesis.

The artist mainly illustrates picture books and speech therapy materials and games. The Augsburger Allgemeine writes about its illustration style as being “powerful, striking and kept in warm colors. Her heroes have their own characters, which the artist carefully develops and skillfully brings in in facial expressions and body language. All in all, they are heartwarming, lovable characters that you just have to love. "

Claudia Stöckl is a self-employed entrepreneur.
