Claudius Bruns (* 1975 in Munich ) is a German cabaret artist , songwriter , pianist and author .

Life

Claudius Bruns grew up in the Rhineland and lived in Overath . He studied law and political science. He received jazz piano lessons from Pablo Paradez (Cologne) and Art Wheeler (USA). He completed his piano studies with Richie Beirach and Janusz Wozniak at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . Since 2007 he has been working as a pianist and performer at the Leipzig cabaret academixer . In 2017 he was a founding member of the theater " ADOLF SÜDKNECHT ", to whose core he still belongs as a musician, speaker and author. Since 2014 he has performed with piano and cabaret in the premiere program "Alone on Ivory".

Together with friends he runs a restored “Horns Erben” restaurant in Leipzig as a cultural association.
