Claus Gehrke (born April 6, 1942 ) is a former German biathlete .

Claus Gehrke lives in Bad Wiessee . In 1973 he became German champion in biathlon singles. He had his most successful year in 1976 when he not only won his second German championship title, now in the sprint, but also competed in the Winter Olympics in Innsbruck . In Austria he was only used in the German relay team and missed a medal together with Heinrich Mehringer , Gerhard Winkler and Josef Keck as the fourth-placed team, just 3.15 seconds behind the representation from the GDR.
