Netuschil Gallery
The Galerie Netuschil is an art gallery in Darmstadt , Hessen, founded by the art historian Claus K. Netuschil (* 1951 in Heppenheim) and his wife on October 1st, 1976 as "Saalbau-Galerie - Galerie und Verlag".
On October 1, 1984, the Darmstadt Art Archive was founded by a small group of interested art lovers . It was created from the work and in the rooms of the Netuschil Gallery. The gallery developed into a cultural institution. Around 350 exhibitions provide an art-historical view of the gallery's profile.
In 2000, founder and chairman Claus Netuschil was also the full-time director of the Kunsthalle Darmstadt and the Kunstverein Darmstadt . In 2010 he was awarded the bronze merit plaque of the city of Darmstadt for his services .
