Claus Uhlig
Claus Uhlig (born November 5, 1936 in Berlin ; † January 29, 2015 in Marburg ) was a German Anglicist .
Life
After graduating as Dr. phil. at the University of Hamburg in 1966 and the Habilitation in 1971, he was there from 1972 to 1973 Associate Professor of English Philology from 1973 to 1978 as Professor of English Philology. From 1978 until his retirement in 2005 he taught at the Philipps University in Marburg .
