Cledus T. Judd

Cledus T. Judd (* 18th December 1964 in Marietta as Barry Poole ) is an American country singer and entertainer.

Live and act

He is best known for his song I love NASCAR . He is also known as a parodist of country music and the Encyclopedia of Country Music attributes him a "humor between Ray Stevens and Weird Al Yankovic ". Judd initially works as a hairdresser. After winning an amateur musician competition in an Atlanta nightclub , he went to Nashville , where he had his first success on a local radio station by parodying popular country music. Little by little he became better known and got the opportunity to support Billy Ray Cyrus . Soon he toured with other country stars.
