Colt Ford
Colt Ford (* 1970 in Athens , Georgia , civic Jason Farris Brown ) is an American Country - Rap musician.
biography
Ford grew up playing country music but then switched to R&B and hip-hop. With Jermaine Dupri he had already produced his own album, but it did not make it to publication.
After that he took a six-year break from music, where he was active as a professional golf player and coach.
His musical return in the late 2000s was a mixture of country and rap. His debut album Ride Through the Country reached number 12 on the rap chart and number 34 on the country charts in 2009. With his second album Chicken & Biscuits he reached number 4 and number 8 a year later and also made it into the top 40 of the Billboard 200 .
Colt Ford publishes his records on Average Joe's Records , which he founded with a friend, producer Shannon Houchins, in 2006.
