Clemens Adams (politician, 1864)

Clemens Adams (born January 11, 1864 in Mayen ; † 1941 ) was a German entrepreneur and politician ( German Center Party ).

Life

Adams attended school in Mayen and the Royal High School in Düsseldorf. He then studied law in Bonn, Berlin, Heidelberg and Strasbourg before taking the assessor examination in 1892 and going to the Provinziel Administration of the Rhine Province. Until October 1, 1918, he worked as a regional councilor before he was general director of the provincial fire insurance institute of the Rhine province from 1918 to 1931. He was also a member of the supervisory boards of several companies.

From 1912 to 1933, Clemens Adams was the incumbent parliamentary group chairman of the central parliamentary group in the city council in Düsseldorf . He also represented the Center Party in the Rhenish Provincial Parliament until 1933 .

In 1930 he lived at Friedrichstrasse 68 in Düsseldorf and in 1935 at Humboldtstrasse 57, also in Düsseldorf.
