Clemens August Freiherr von Korff called Schmising (* May 9, 1777 ; † 1843 ) was Prussian chamberlain, district administrator and canon in Münster .
Life
Clemens August von Korff called Schmising came from the Westphalian noble family von Korff . He was the son of Karl Mauritz von Korff zu Harkotten and his wife Sophia Antonetta Josepha Bernhardina von Boeselager zu Eggermühlen , who had signed a marriage contract on November 25, 1768. In 1796 he received a Münstersche Dompräbende after the provost Theodor Werner von Bocholtz avoided had. Clemens August had not received any higher orders . He was also canon in Halberstadt and most recently Prussian chamberlain and district administrator.
