Clemens Frömmel (born October 23, 1874 in Neu-Ullersdorf , Moravia , † 1945 in Vienna ) was an Austrian furniture designer.

After attending the woodworking college in Grulich , Frömmel worked for a year as a draftsman and foreman in a furniture factory. From 1896 to 1900 he studied at the Vienna School of Applied Arts , from 1904 to 1906 he worked there as a teacher. In between he worked from 1899 to 1903 as a draftsman in the associated Museum of Art and Industry. Frommel's further career went smoothly: through a position at the technical school for wood processing in Villach and a professorship at the Graz School of Applied Arts in 1914 , she went to the Ministry of Education and, at the end of the 1920s, to the Ministry of Commerce, where Frömmel, as a ministerial advisor, was responsible for arts and crafts education.

Frommel designed simple, functional furniture, some based on British models. At a young age he also worked as an illustrator and textile designer.
