Clemens Henzler

Clemens Henzler (born August 20, 1945 in Nauort ) is a former German social worker and politician ( CDU ).

Life

Henzler attended elementary school and vocational school. From 1960 to 1963 he did an apprenticeship as a telecommunications technician at the Deutsche Bundespost . 1963–1965 he worked in the telecommunications office I in Koblenz and from 1965 to 1967 did his military service in Sontra / North Hesse and Koblenz. 1967–1969 he obtained the Abitur on the second educational path and studied from 1969–1973 dan at the University of Applied Sciences for Social Work in Heidelberg, where he passed the exam in 1973, specializing in social work. From 1975 he was a social worker at the city administration of Koblenz, most recently as senior social inspector.

In 1967 he joined the CDU. In 1971 he became a member of the CDU district executive, in 1982 the CDU district executive and 1985 chairman of the CDU state committee for social and health policy. In 1969 he became the local chairman of the Junge Union and was a member of the Junge Union district board from 1970 to 1974. Between 1973 and 1977 he was state chairman of the young workers in the Christian-Democratic workforce, from 1973 a member of the Christian-Democratic workforce state executive and 1975–1982 Christian-Democratic workforce district chairman. From 1981 he was district chairman of the Christian Democratic Workers' Union Koblenz-Montabaur.

In 1971 he became a member of the Ransbach-Baumbach municipal council and in 1974 a member of the Westerwaldkreis district council. He was also a member of the Nauort local council and was a CDU parliamentary spokesman there until 1979.

On February 27, 1987, he replaced Joachim Hörster in the tenth state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate, to which he was a member until the end of the electoral term until 1987. In the state parliament he was a member of the petitions committee and the committee for social affairs and health.
