Cleostratus is an impact crater on the moon . It is located on the northwestern edge of the front of the moon . Due to its peripheral location, it appears strongly distorted from the earth and is not always visible due to the libration . It is located southeast of Pythagoras and northeast of Oceanus Procellarum .
