course
The road branches off the Midland Highway in Campbell Town and runs in an east-southeast direction through uninhabited bushland. About in the middle of the route it passes the south bank of Lake Leake and the place of the same name, along the range of hills of Hobgoblin and Rawlinna Hill . Then it continues its way in the valleys of the Brushy River and the Cygnet River to the confluence with the Tasman Highway.
