The Brushy River is a river in the east of the Australian state of Tasmania .

River course

The river has its source on the northern slopes of Ferrars Tier in the southwest corner of the Snow Hill Forest Reserve , north of Lake Leake . From there it flows to the southeast and east. Approx. 3 km west of Cranbrook it flows into the Cygnet River .
