Clifford Rayes Miranda (born July 11, 1982 in Margao ) is an Indian football player and plays for Dempo SC and the Indian national team .

Player career

Miranda already played soccer in his youth. He started at Salcete FC, a football club in Goa . In 1996 he moved to the Tata Football Academy, a renowned football school in Jamshedpur .

After completing the Tata FA, he managed to sign a professional contract with the then second division team Dempo SC . In the following years he was able to win 5 championship titles with the team. In 2014 he was loaned to FC Goa and in 2015 to Atlético de Kolkata .

In 2004 he made his debut in the Indian national soccer team in a game against Pakistan.
