The Clifton River is a river on the west coast of Dominica . It runs in Parish St. John and flows into the Caribbean Sea at Clifton .
geography
The Clifton River has its source in the Francois Estate ( ⊙ ) area and initially runs west, but soon turns southwest. It receives a tributary from the left and south at Fond Joco and from there flows steadily to the west and flows into the sea on the southern edge of Clifton . The catchment areas of Marceau Bay Gutter and Taffia River join to the north and the catchment area of the Lamothe River to the south . The whole river is only about 2.66 km long.
