Kimberlee Acquaro

Kimberlee Acquaro (* 20th century ) is an American film director , film producer for documentaries and photojournalist .

Career

At the beginning of her career, Acquaro worked as a photojournalist for The New York Times , Time and The Washington Post, among others .

In the documentary field, she worked as a director and producer on the films God Sleeps in Rwanda from 2005 and 100 Years from 2011. She also wrote the script for God Sleeps in Rwanda . At the 2006 Academy Awards , she and Stacy Sherman received a nomination in the " Best Documentary Short Film " category . The award went to the competition Corinne Marrinan and Eric Simonson with his contribution A Note of Triumph: The Golden Age of Norman Corwin . In 2007, Acquaro and Sherman received a News & Documentary Emmy Award for their work. She last worked as a director in 2011 in the film Miss Representation .

Acquaro is married and has one son.
