CLIMB is a Cubesat that is being developed by the Wiener Neustadt University of Applied Sciences and in cooperation with students from the Technical University of Vienna and the Austrian association STG-A. It is the next project after the development of the small satellite Pegasus .

CLIMB will use an ion propulsion system in which indium ions are accelerated by electric fields to change its initial circular orbit with an orbit height of approximately 450 km to an eccentric orbit with an apogee height of up to 1000 km. The Cubesat is scheduled to go into space in 2020 (planning status October 2018).
