The Clissold nunatak is a distinctive nunatak on the Antarctic Ross Island . It rises on the northwest slope of Mount Erebus near its summit.
The New Zealand Geographic Board named him in 2012 after Thomas Clissold (1886-1963), cook on the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) of British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott .
