Clive Betts (* 13. January 1950 in Sheffield , England ) is a British politician of the Labor Party .

Life

Betts attended Longley School in Sheffield and King Edward VII School Sheffield . He studied economics and politics at Pembroke College , Cambridge, and earned a bachelor's degree. In 1969 Betts joined the Labor Party. In 1973 he was hired as an economist in Derbyshire County. Since 1992, Betts MP for the constituency of Sheffield Attercliffe in the House of Commons . Betts lives in the Derbyshire countryside with his partner James Thomas .
