Clive Walker

Clive Walker (born May 26, 1957 in Oxford ) is a former English football player .

Life

The Englishman played for six different clubs. Walker played on the outside lanes. His career began in 1976 with Chelsea . He made his league debut on April 23, 1977 at the age of 19 in a 1-0 win over Burnley FC . With the Blues he rose to the first division. In 198 appearances, of which he was substituted on 30 times, he scored 60 goals.

In 1979 he was awarded to the Fort Lauderdale Strikers in the North American Soccer League .

In 1983 he moved to Sunderland AFC . In 1986 it went on to the Queens Park Rangers . After only 21 games, he moved to Fulham in 1987 . At Fulham he was under contract for another three years. After Fulham, Walker played for Brighton & Hove Albion for the next three years before ending his long career at Woking FC in 1993 . After his time at Woking , he retired at the age of 40 and took a three-year break from football.

After his retirement he was player manager at FC Molesey for some time .

Walker has been an analyst for BBC London since 2000 .
