The FC Woking (officially: Woking Football Club ) is an English football club from Woking . The club, founded in 1889, spent many years in the Isthmian League . The club is currently active in the Conference National , in the fifth highest league level. The club is also known as The Cardinals and The Cards .

In 1992, Woking rose to the Football Conference and won the FA Trophy in 1994, 1995 and 1997 .

In its history, the club has produced some important players such as Scott Smith (New Zealand international from 1998 to 2003), Nassim Akrour (Algerian national player from 2001 to 2004), Malik Buari (played for Fulham FC ), Kevin Betsy (also played for FC Fulham), Ian Selley (played for Arsenal ) and Clive Walker ( retired from Woking, also played for Chelsea ).
