List of apple varieties

Clivia is a variety of the apple ( Malus domestica ), which is a cross of ' Cox Orangenrenette ' and ' privy councilor Dr. Oldenburg '. It was raised at the Institute for Arable and Plant Production in Müncheberg .

description

The slow-growing tree forms diagonally upright leading branches with few branches and many short shoots. The small, rounded crown must be stimulated to form new shoots with strong annual cuts, otherwise it will age. The variety is slightly susceptible to scab and good resistance to powdery mildew .

The flowering period is medium. The flowers develop terminally on short shoots or laterally on one- and two-year long shoots.

The small to medium-sized fruit is 64 mm wide and 56 mm high and weighs 100 grams. The smooth, greasy to greasy, medium-thick and crumbly skin is greenish-yellow in color and striped yellowish-red to red-brown. The yellowish white flesh is firm, fine-celled, juicy, sweetish-sour and noble aromatic. It is ready to be picked from mid-October and ready for consumption from December to April. The apple can be stored well, but is also suitable for fresh consumption.
