The Coalseam Cliffs (English for Kohlesaumkliffs ) are rock cliffs in the East Antarctic Coatsland . In the Theron Mountains form the northwestern part of the massif of Mount Faraway .
Participants in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) led by British polar explorer Vivian Fuchs carried out a mapping between 1956 and 1957. They are named after a coal line that runs through the cliffs.
