Jonas Algirdas Riepšas
Jonas Prapiestis (born October 10, 1937 in Latveliai , district of Kretinga ) is a Lithuanian judge .
Life
Riepšas learned in Mančiai and Grūšlaukis with Kretinga . In 1957 he graduated from the Klaipėda Pedagogical School and worked as a teacher at Salantai . From 1970 to 1975 Riepšas graduated from the Law Faculty of Vilnius University in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius with a degree in law . In 1998 he continued his education in Paris . From 1967 he was a judge in the Plungė District Court . From 1970 Riepšas headed the Varėna District Court in Soviet Lithuania as President . From July 1974 he worked as a judge at the Soviet Lithuanian Supreme Court . From 2003 to December 2007, Riepšas headed the criminal matters department of the Lithuanian Supreme Court as chairman.
