Cobham is a town in Elmbridge County, Surrey .
Cobham is 32 kilometers southwest of London and dates back to a Roman settlement. Cobham is in close proximity to the former Brooklands circuit . This proximity ensured economic connections to motorsport. From 1933 until just before World War II , Railton produced automobiles in Cobham. In the 1960s and 1970s, Huron produced Formula Ford and Formula Atlantic racing vehicles. Also Invicta Car and Silver Hawk Motors had production facilities in this city. The Chelsea FC football club has its training facilities in Cobham.
Cobham is on the A307 and Cobham & Stoke Rail Station provides access to London's Waterloo Station .
