Cocoa Fujiwara ( Japanese 藤原 こ こ あ , Fujiwara Kokoa ; born April 28, 1983 in Fukuoka Prefecture ; † March 31, 2015 ) was a Japanese manga artist .

Life

Cocoa Fujiwara had her professional debut at age 15 when in 1999 in the manga magazine Gangan Wing , the One Shot Calling (CALLING -コーリング- ) published. Her first series, Watashi no Ōkami-san , appeared in 2001 and 2001 . about a demon king and a level 0 heroine who made it into two volumes. This was followed by her longest series dear ( 12 volumes) from 2003 to 2008 , about a werewolf and a policeman who was "cursed" by her with immortality, including the protagonists from Watashi no Ōkami-san. appear in leading roles. The Inu × Boku SS series followed from 2009 to 2014 in the Gangan Joker magazine , which has been translated into German, English and French and published in Germany by Carlsen under the title Secret Service - Maison de Ayakashi . This was followed in 2013 by the manga Katsute Mahō Shōjo to Aku wa Tekitai Shiteita. about the relationship between a magical girl fighting an evil empire and a high-ranking officer of that empire. However, she was unable to finish this work because of a fatal illness to which she succumbed in 2015.
