The Codex Sangermanensis ( Gregory-Aland no. D abs1 or 0319 ; α 1027 from Soden) is a Greco-Latin manuscript of the Pauline letters , which is dated to the 8th century. The left side is always Greek, the right side is Latin. The Codex is a copy of the Codex Claromontanus .

The Greek text of the Codex Sangermanensis represents the western text type and is assigned to category III .

The manuscript was examined by Bernard de Montfaucon , Johann Jakob Wettstein , and Johann Jakob Griesbach .

The manuscript was collated by Christian Friedrich Matthäi in 1805 .

The Codex is in the Russian National Library (Gr. 20) in Saint Petersburg .
