history
The Coko-Werk GmbH & Co. KG was in 1926 by Co nrad co founded ch in Kassel. Back then, Coko was producing electrostatic cleaning devices. Due to World War II, the company moved to Metz. There, Coko built up a manufacture of injection molded articles. In 1944 the company moved back to Germany. In Bad Salzuflen-Schötmar, Coko increasingly focused on the processing of modern plastics. Due to low capacities, the company laid the foundation stone for the new production facility in Bad Salzuflen-Holzhausen in 1969. Typical Coko products in the 1960s were furniture parts for the regional industry and promotional items for various customers. In 1971 Reinhard Spieker took over the management of the plant. The production included technical housing parts and computer housings. Due to the constant growth, the company put two large production halls and administration buildings into operation in 1985. The branch in Łódź was founded in 2000 . Coko then founded a plant in Çerkezköy in 2007 and another plant near Łódź in 2012. The Łódź plant burned down in July 2015 and was then rebuilt.

In 2019, investments were made in the expansion of 6000 m² of production and logistics space in order to meet the increasing demand from the automotive industry and white goods . Around 270 employees work for the company in Çerkezköy , Turkey .
