Colleen Cannon Kaushansky (* 1961 in Huntsville ) is a former US triathlete and world champion in the long distance triathlon (1984).

Career

Colleen Cannon has won over 70 national and international victories during her triathlon career, which she actively competed from 1981 to 1992. She first started as a professional in 1982.

World champion triathlon long distance 1984

In 1984, Colleen Cannon won the unofficial professional triathlon world championship in the long distance over 4 km swimming, 120 km cycling and 30 km running in France at the triathlon Longue Distance de Nice in front of her compatriot Julie Moss .

National triathlon champion in 1988

She was US national triathlon champion (1988), winner of the US Coca-Cola Triathlon Grand Prix series in 1989, US national triathlon team member from 1990 to 1992 and each of the top ten places in the US Association of Professional Triathletes in the years 1984, 1986 and 1987.

Colleen Cannon is married to Howard Kaushansky. She is the founder, president and managing director of the Women's Quest health agency , which is holistically committed to holistic health and athletic training programs for women worldwide.
