The Collins River is a river in the extreme southwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .

geography

The river has its source south of Centaurus Ridge in the Arthur Range in the center of Southwest National Park . From there it first flows south to Gorge Ridge , which it flows around in the west. To the west of this mountain range it turns south again and flows into the Old River .
