Columbia Lake is a natural lake in the southern Canadian province of British Columbia .
Located at 808 m (average water surface ) in the Columbia Valley ( Rocky Mountain Trench ) has several headwaters and is located north of the village of Canal Flats in the Regional District of East Kootenay .
It has the approximate dimensions 13.5 × 2 kilometers . The body of water is a significant tributary to the Columbia River .
The Columbia Lake Provincial Park is located on the northeastern shore of the lake.
