The Come Organization was a label founded by William Bennett in 1979 in London . The Come Organization was particularly important for the London music and noise scene at the time , in which a large number of experimental musicians frequented and exchanged ideas .

history

Benett founded the label for his band at the time, Come . It later became the label of Bennet's new music group Whitehouse and other extreme electronic music . When Whitehouse broke up in 1984 and many important people on the London scene left, the label was also dissolved in 1985. After Whitehouse re-founded in 1990, the Susan Lawly label was founded.

In addition to Whitehouse and Come, albums by musicians such as Sutcliffe Jendung , Charles Manson , Maurizio Bianchi , Nurse With Wound and a few samplers were released, including the famous Für Ilse Koch sampler, with Whitehouse, Maurizio Bianchi and Nurse With, among others Wound.

On Susan Lawly appeared two Sampler, Anthology I and Anthology II , with old Come Org material.

criticism

The label was mainly criticized for its handling of Maurizio Bianchi's albums . Steven Stapleton , of Nurse With Wound, jokingly drew up a contract that deprived Bianchi of all rights to his music. Bianchi, however, signed the contract out of linguistic ignorance. William Bennett then changed material supplied by Bianchi. The albums were published under the name Leibstandarte SS MB and the music was accompanied by speeches by Nazi greats in order to increase the shock value.
