Yannik Gölz from laut.de rated the album with four out of a possible five points. Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2 is "an album that at least captures a piece of the potential and condensed, the Lil Peep has indicated in his lifetime." The rapper "offers variety, but turns to any point on the all overarching melancholy off," the Single Life Is Beautiful is described as a “special highlight” and “even more intimate and fragile than the other titles”. Ultimately, the album is "a somewhat one-dimensional, but therefore very distinctive project that focuses on doing justice to the mood and trademarks of Peep."
