The Comedy Hirten are an Austrian cabaret and comedy formation that has been on stage with several live programs and with changing line-ups since 2004. They were founded in 2003 by Gernot Kulis , Peter Moizi and Rolf Lehmann . Of all the actors, only Peter Moizi is consistently present in all programs. In addition to the live shows, the comedy shepherds and their protagonists are also known from the Hitradio Ö3 radio program , e.g. B. with the show Hicke & die stark Männer .

The first show tour "Murderous"

The Ö3 employees Gernot Kulis and Rolf Lehmann as well as the Kronen Zeitung editor Peter Moizi decided in spring 2003 to develop a live stage show. Together with other authors and the voice imitator Marion Petric from Graz , they developed the characters and story of “Mörderisch”, a comedy program designed as a crime in the style of Agatha Christie. “Mörderisch” was premiered in Vienna's “Metropol” and played well over 300 times by mid-2007. Gradually, the voice imitators Herbert and Christian Schwab were added to the ensemble. At the end of 2005, a live show of “Mörderisch” recorded in the Orpheum in Graz was released on DVD, which sold almost 10,000 times.

The second show tour "Ferngestört"

At the beginning of 2008, work began on the new “Ferngestört” program, an analysis staged with great technical effort (several large screens, animated films, etc.) about the dwindling importance of television in the age of smartphones and social media, which premiered in March 2009. This program was also recorded in the Orpheum Graz for DVD production.

The third show tour "2014"

In 2013 Lehmann, Schwab, Haider and Moizi decided to write a new cabaret program as Comedy Shepherds, which was performed for the first time in Vienna's Casanova the following year . “2014” was a comedy program based on daily news and no longer only contained parodies and imitation voices: Christian Schwab took on a longer stand-up block, Peter Moizi told anecdotes of encounters with real celebrities, and Rolf Lehmann reported on his experiences as a German in Austria.

The fourth show tour "Around the World in 80 Minutes"

In the summer of 2015, Comedy Hirten began to adapt Schwab's Ö3 radio section “Around the World in 80 Seconds” for the stage. Schwab combines his role as a master of the ceremony with comedy interludes by Lehmann, Moizi and Haider. “Around the World in 80 Minutes” was performed for the first time in October 2015 at Casanova. In autumn 2016 a recording of “Around the World in 80 Minutes” was released from the Berndorf City Theater. The piece was performed 180 times in total.

The fifth show tour "Everything perfect"

On April 10, 2018, the shepherds will start their new show "Everything perfect". The tour is planned until the end of 2019. New parodies include Donald Trump, Sebastian Kurz, HC Strache, Christian Kern, Dominic Thiem and others. a. with it.
