Marion Petric

Marion Petric (born September 18, 1966 in Graz ; † May 29, 2021 ) was an Austrian comedienne, voice imitator , singer, voice actress , presenter , cabaret artist and actress.

Life

Petric was discovered in 2002 as a voice parodist for the comedy line of the Austrian radio station Hitradio Ö3 . She became known with parodies by Gerda Rogers , Ingrid Thurnher , Elisabeth Gehrer and Benita Ferrero-Waldner . Then she was a founding member of the "Ö3 Comedyhirten ", which reached 300,000 viewers in Austria with the successful program "Mörderisch".

As a result, Marion Petric began a career as a solo artist. Her first program "Ladies on a Leash" (2009 to 2012) was already successful. This was followed by the comedy music shows “Die Froschkönigin” (2012 to 2015) and “Fisch Grete und das Kammerl des Schreckens” (2015 to 2017). At that time, Marion Petric also entertained an audience of millions in the role of the cleaning lady Margarethe Fisch alias "Fisch Grete" in the Ö3-Wecker.

From 2018 the “only female voice parodist in Austria” toured Austria with her 4th solo program Fisch Grete on the wrong steamer . Around 20 personalities - including Niki Lauda , Vera Russwurm , Andreas Gabalier , Helene Fischer , Herbert Grönemeyer - were satirized in it.

In addition, Marion Petric worked as an advertising spokesperson, presenter and jazz singer and was repeatedly involved in the comedy section of Hitradio Ö3 .

After Petric was diagnosed with cancer for the first time in 2006 , she died in May 2021 as a result of her serious illness.
