comma (completely: comma, GmbH ) is a clothing manufacturer in the women's fashion sector based in Rottendorf . It is a subsidiary of the Rottendorfer company s.Oliver . The company operates shops, online stores, stores with partners and shops in shops within other stores such as department stores. Comma products are available in Germany , Austria , Switzerland , the Netherlands , Belgium , Luxembourg , Norway , Russia and Slovenia .

% - - 1993 Chaloc textile trade GmbH as 100 was a subsidiary of s.Oliver Bernd Freier GmbH & Co.KG founded. Bernd Freier took over the comma trademark rights in 2001, a year later Chaloc and comma were renamed comma Textilhandel GmbH & Co. KG.
A trading up was carried out in 2007 in order to increase area productivity. At the same time, menu orders were introduced and investments were made in improved cost of goods. The company renewed its communication concept and developed a new shop fitting system. In 2008 the name was changed to comma GmbH. After the company had previously been a 100% subsidiary of s.Oliver Bernd Freier GmbH & Co. KG, it established itself as a separate company within the s.Oliver Group in 2009. In the same year the new company headquarters was opened in Rottendorf. The comma Designer's choice line and the comma online stores in Germany and Austria have also been in existence since 2009. With the launch of the comma casual identity line and the opening of the Comma flagship store at the home site of Würzburg, the business expanded further in 2010. Another highlight was the cooperation between comma accessories and Liebeskind Berlin for bags and small leather goods in 2011.

The company carries three brands: comma , comma casual identity and comma Designer's choice . In addition, comma offers the special collections comma Dresses and comma Outdoor. Fragrances and shoes are created as licensed products.
