The Costa Diadema is a cruise ship of Costa Crociere , which was put into service, 2014.

construction

The shipping company's new flagship cost around 550 million euros. It is essentially based on the three ships of the Dream class of Carnival Cruise Lines , which were completed in 2009, 2011 and 2012 found. The ship is 306 meters long and 37.2 meters wide and measured around 132,500 GT.

On October 25, 2014, the ship was taken over by Costa Crociere.

Furnishing

The ship has 19 decks , 15 of which contain passenger facilities. It is equipped with 1,862 cabins and can accommodate 3,724 passengers. If the upper beds are occupied, 4,947 passengers can be accommodated. 130 cabins have direct access to the spa, 11 of which are suites, 756 cabins have their own balcony, of which 64 are suites. The ship is operated by 1,253 crew members . In 2017 it became known that robots of the Pepper type are now also on the move on the Costa Diadema .
