The Costa Venezia is a cruise ship operated by the Italian shipping company Costa Crociere . The Vista class ship with a measurement of around 135,000 GT was completed in 2019.

history

In March 2015, Carnival Corporation & plc ordered five ships from Fincantieri under reserve, including the Costa Venezia . In December 2015 the order for four ships was confirmed.

The Costa Venezia is the first Costa Crociere ship specially designed for the Chinese market. It was built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone . The construction cost was approximately $ 780 million. The ship was on November 1, 2017 the hull number 6271 to set keel . The forecastle was built by VARD AS , a subsidiary of Fincantieri, in Tulcea . The float took place on June 22, 2018. The ship was delivered on February 28, 2019.
