The Costa Fascinosa is a cruise ship operated by the Costa Crociere shipping company . The Costa Fascinosa is largely identical to the previously built Costa Favolosa .

history

The keel was laid on September 3, 2010 in the shipyard of Fincantieri in Marghera , Italy . The ship entered service on May 5, 2012. In 2012 and 2013, the ship operated Mediterranean cruises from Venice in the summer and South American cruises in the winter half-year .

technology

The Costa Fascinosa has Cold Ironing , a shore power supply system for ships for the duration of their stay in port. This means that the machines can be parked in the port, which reduces pollutant emissions.
